Shake-up eyed after inmate in wheelchair escapes on foot

Arcade Comeaux Jr. escaped form prison taking along two guardsman's guns. The man was in a wheelchair and being transported. He was serving a life sentence. He pulled out a pistol while in the van and handcuffed the guards together. He was handcuffed, but got out of them, the wheelchair was part of the gig the whole time. Comeaux is still missing.

The State. Sen. is outraged, demanding that the entire justice system be investigated. Comeaux's mother is convinced that people within the system are in on her sons escape. If he comes home, she intends to feed him, give him a shower, and send him back to the prison. The fact the he had a pistol is disturbing. He was also never padded down before they entered the van. Cell phones have been confiscated on a regular bases at the prison, but no one would have ever imagined a pistol to be snuck in. The system obviously needs an entire "makeover," especially since it seems that police are helping the criminals and not doing their job. My biggest question is why wasn't this on t.v. or anywhere else? This story posted December 2, and I have not seen it on t.v. a single time. This is a man serving a life sentence and escaped, yet there has been no attention to the matter. Insane.
