Three more arrests in alleged gang rape

Araceli Amor

I found this article on line at MS NBC.com. A disturbing event happened in Richmond California at a homecoming dance,A 15 year old girl was raped and beaten right outside of her high school. The police believe that as many as ten people were involved in this attack ranging from 15 to mid 20's. The police have already arrested five people in conjunction with this assault. Their were at least a dozen people that saw this act occur and did nothing. The police are now hoping that people who witnessed this act will speak up and turn in the remaining men who helped in assaulting this young women. Their is a $20,000 reward for information on this case. This case shows just how much people are not willing to do. How could a dozen people watch this brutal attack and not even try to call the cops. We fear what might happen to us if we speak out. The cops are using money as a way to get people involved in finding the people who committed the crime. We fear what we do not know and these men had control over the situation and chose to continue, now that this case is out in the open we are outraged as a society and want to find justice for what has happened to this young girl.
